Jenn (she/her) | Owner/Operator & General Manager

Jenn is the sole Owner and Operator of East Coast Dog. She has two pups at home – Winston and Shady – and is obsessed with all things dog! She’s been working in the industry for several years now, serving and educating pet parents about happy, healthy pups!

Jess (she/her) | Retail Marketing Manager

Jess is our Retail Marketing Manager, and she’s been with East Coast Dog since day one! She is a self-proclaimed nerd for all things pet related, and we would say she’s definitely a dog expert! In fact, she’s the mastermind behind all of our social media marketing efforts.

Courtney (she/her) | Pet Care Expert

Courtney is our Senior Dog Walker – but she also works in the shop! She started off her time in the industry, working with animals as a veterinary assistant. She has since gained tons of additional valuable experience, equipping her with a masterful knowledge of animal behaviour! Ripley, her Australian Cattle Dog, is the light of her life!

Lindsay (she/her) | Pet Care Expert

If visiting the shop on the weekends is a part of your routine, you’ve likely crossed paths with Lindsay. Her knowledge, experience and insight are highly valued at East Coast Dog. Lindsay is also a very talented artist and loves painting pets in watercolour. Her art has even been tattooed on other people!

Alecia (she/her) | Groomer

Alecia has been with us since our salon launched in 2023. She started out her career as a veterinary assistant, but switched to grooming in 2016, as her creative side called to her. Now she’s a pro, with several years of experience under her belt, and is a very valued member of the East Coast Dog team!

Kassidy (she/they) | Groomer

Kas joined us in 2023, with two years of experience in professional dog grooming and a strong passion for animal welfare. It’s been clear from the start, that she knows exactly what she’s doing and how to handle dogs in our care. Making our customers look and feel pretty is her calling!

Davey (he/him) | Groomer

Davey joined the team as an Assistant Groomer in 2023. Under the guidance of our Senior Groomer, Alecia, he quickly graduated to the position of Junior Groomer, and is now, after a lot of hard work, offering Full Grooming Services! Before Davey decided to make the switch to grooming, he made a career working with dogs, through daycare and professional dog sitting.

Simone (she/her) | Groomer

Simone started as a Junior Groomer and Assistant at East Coast in 2023! Her very well groomed poodle, Diva, has been the star of much of our behind-the-scenes content. Though she is still learning, Simone is now taking new clients for her Full Cut & Style Grooming. Haley (she/her) | Groomer

Haley joined our groom team at the start of 2025, bringing three years of experience and knowledge. Haley is caring, gentle, and has a calming presence that resonates with the dogs in her care. Her passion for animal welfare makes her the perfect fit for our team.

Jennie joined the ECD team in 2025, with 13 years of experience under her belt, and she is certified through the Canadian Professional Pet Stylist organization. Jennie shares her life with her two Bedlington terriers, Whimsy and Nimbus.

Ryan started with us in 2023, and has been eager from the start to learn and expand his knowledge. His positive attitude is infectious and he has been a wonderful addition to the team. He comes from a background of work in customer service and doggy daycare. Kenya is his senior pup and best friend, and he’d love to tell you all about how much he loves her, if you ask!
